拿到SSN一年多的申卡历程

从2011年7月拿到SSN到现在22个月的时间一共申了11张卡，关掉了第一张secured card，现共有10张卡。
我把开卡bonus和消费额度（Credit Limit, CL）以及年费贴出来以供大家参考。

Month 1:  BOA secured card, closed in Month 3, CL=$1,000 (no opening bonus, annual fee $39)
Month 4:  BOA 123, CL=$1,500 (no bonus, no annual fee)
                Citi Dividend for student, CL=$3,500 (no bonus, no annual fee)
Month 8:  Discover, CL=$8,000 ($100 bonus, no annual fee)
Month 9:  Chase Sapphire Preferred, CL=$5,000 (50,000 points bonus. no first year annual fee, then $95, already paid)
Month 10: Chase UA, CL=$3,600 (65,000 miles + $50 bonus, no first year annual fee, then $95.)
                 Chase Freedom, CL=$1,500 (35,000 points bonus, no annual fee)
Month 11: FIA, CL=$1,000 （-_-!）(no bonus, no annual fee. 2 points per $1 for everything)
Month 14: Amex SPG, CL=$4,000 (30,000 points bonus, no first year annual fee, then $65)
Month 22: Citi AA, CL=$11,000 (45,000 miles + $150 AA discount bonus, no first year annual fee, then $95)
                 Barclay NFL, CL=$5,000 (40,000 points = $400 bonus, no annual fee)

这些开卡bonus总共值$4500～$5000吧。就是最近没啥好的开卡deal。

5.16又申了一张，Citi AA Visa，instantly approved。开卡四个月消费$2500送50k miles：

discover给8k，太狠了，我就拿到ssn申请就给了500.。。。

其实还好，比较有影响的是是否及时付清payment和keep low balance for each card。

当时我也很惊讶，因为据说discover给的额度都不太高的

Transfer CL from UA to freedom and close it. I don' t think it necessary keeping both Sapphire Preferred and UA simultaneously.

FIA is a good choice. No fuzz 2% on every $ spent.

不要气馁啊 我开始的那些卡都是被拒后打后门电话要求reconsider才通过的

应该不是最好的offer那种，如果是我现在是不会申的。我现在申卡的话至少开卡bonus要有三四百美元，否则就浪费了一个hard pull。
