护士签证，H1C

匹大护士大二学生，今天突然听朋友说护士签证是H1C，每年就500个名额，我本来打算毕业后先去ICU/CCU工作的，就这点名额怎么办。。？是抽签还是按照什么排名？
求大神解答啊！！怎么办！有种上了贼船的感觉！

If you want to work in America as a nurse, you have to apply for an H1C work visa. If you've been granted one, you can perform nursing services in the US for 3 years only and your H1C visa will not be extended. Every year, the US government only issues 500 H1C visas.

To qualify for the visa, you have to be a licensed nurse or you have to obtain a nursing degree, and take the NCLEX-RN exam and pass. With only 500 issued yearly, some nurses skip the H1C visa and just get the registered nurse green card. The spouse and children of the nurse with an H1C visa can enter and stay in America. Their status will be H4. People with an H4 visa can go to school but will not be allowed to work. An H1C visa holder can work for H1C eligible hospitals in the US. In order for you to qualify for H1C status, you need to have a full and unrestricted license in your country, or you need to have received nursing education in America. You must also pass the required examination (which will be up to the DHHS) or have a full and unrestricted license to work in the state wherein you intend to remain. Lastly, you need to be fully qualified and eligible under all the state laws and regulations of the state in which you want to work as a nurse, right upon your entry to the country.
