Check list of H1b visa application: · Have a lawyer · Company description · Company letterhead · Basic information: address, Tax ID, income,number of employees, business category, year established, etc. · Federal Tax return for past 3 years (includecurrent year) · Bank statements of past 6-12 months (proof ofthe ability to pay employee’s salary) · Lease of office space · Marketing material – website/brochures · Proof of operation (Client agreement, purchaseorder, etc.) · Application forms, petition letter(need acompany officer’s signature) · Application fee: $500 (fraud detect fee) +$1,500 (company sponsorship fee) + $ 1,225 (premium process fee) + $325 (filingfee) +lawyer fee (~$2000) = ~$ 5,550 *fraud detect fee, company sponsorship feeand premium process fee must be paid by company’s check. · Job advertisement of staff accountant position Procedures: 1. A Labor Condition Application (LCA) will befiled with the Department of Labor (DOL). This form will bind theemployer to pay the prevailing wage, offer the same benefits to H-1B visaholders as other employees, and assure that employment of the alien will notnegatively affect the conditions of other workers, including workers on strikeinvolving the petitioned occupation. (Lawyer will involved to determine theprevailing wage. This step takes about 2 weeks to complete) 2. After approval of the LCA by the DOL, the actualH-1b petition will be filed with the USCIS with all necessary documents, feesand information.
