This piano had light use and plays great!The Yamaha M450 has a solid spruce soundboard and ribs, solid copper wound bass strings, hard maple bridges and aluminum alloy action rail. So, the components are high quality. The key travel is the same as in grand pianos. So, for students practicing at home, playing grand pianos at lessons and recitals will be a much more seamless transition than in lesser practice instruments.
