Responsibilities:
-Maintain receiving, warehousing, RMAand outbound operations for airfreight and LTL volumes by initiating,coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies andprocedures. Develop and implement warehouse SOP.
- Co-develop and achieve warehouseKPIs, define opportunities, measure performance, analyze opportunities,improve, and control performance, constantly aim to reach the ultimate goal toestablish outstanding customer satisfaction, speed inbound to outbound cycletime and eliminate errors.
-Communicate closely with internal andexternal warehouse customers, report to management and to group internalstakeholders.
- Comply with federal, state, and localwarehousing, material handling, and shipping requirement by studying existing andnew legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management onneeded actions.
- Continuously improve operationalperformance and efficiency while satisfying both company and customer needs.
- Maintain warehouse staff byrecruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees in cooperation withHR.
- Maintain physical condition ofwarehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts including automatedsorting machinery, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair andrequisitions for replacement.
-Achieve financial objectives bypreparing and annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances,initiating corrective actions, report to management.
- Maintain warehouse staff job resultsby coaching, counselling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, andappraising job results.
Maintain professional and technicalknowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professionalpublications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to team effort byaccomplishing related results as needed
Requirements:
-Minimum 4 years operation andmanagement experience in warehouse/distribution center.
-Strong knowledge of distributioncenter procedures, including analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese andEnglish
-Exceptional leadership skills.
- Strong administrative andorganizational skills with the ability to drive results.
- Ability to be flexible to workvariable shifts, including weekends and operate on tight deadlines withmultiple priorities subject to frequent change.
- Must demonstrate commitment,dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determinedby manager.
- Authorized to work for any employersin the US
