有人了解所谓的信用分数rebucketing吗？

第一次看到是在Amex的网站上，有人说自己的分数突然掉了，然后别人告诉他这是rebucketing。

今天看了一个帖子，发现其中的情况貌似很复杂，似乎是当你从一个级别升级到下一个级别的时候，因为你初来乍到，相对下个级别的人来说你的信用算低的，所以你的分数不升反降。顿时觉得好神奇，原来分数也不是绝对能比高低的。

这个不是广告，应该不至于不能发连接吧。

Lets say you have a TU score of 640. You have a 6 yo collection acct & 3 old, closed accts with lates as early as 4 years ago. You also have 3 or 4 good accts opened within the last 4 years...no lates on them. No matter what you do, you can't get that score above 640.

Suddenly a GW to the CA works & they remove it! Bang...the score goes to 635 & you're saying "what the heck happened"!!?? You've been rebucketed, which IS a good thing.

When the collection dropped, that was the only collection & now you're sitting in a group with other folks who also have no collections, but they too, have lates. Their lates aren't as recent as yours, so you have one of the lowest scores in the group. BUT, the "members" of this group are constantly changing, and your reports are suddenly looking much better than the newcomers & you suddenly see a boost to 654! Three months pass....your baddies are aging, your good accts have hit milestone birthdays...BOOST...to 670! Here you're one of the best of your group, but you still have lates, although many of the old ones have dropped. As old 30's drop, the 60's become 30's....the 90's become 60's...less hurtful... you're sitting at 740 here

Then one day, your last reported late drops off.....your good accts are all about 5 & 6 or more years old....no baddies whatsoever....BANG!!!! New bucket & you see 785!!! You cannot believde your eyes! Your credit meter is so GREEN!!!!
