We, the parents of New York City, want to start a petition for the Department of Education to keep the choice of remote classes. The reason being for that is the safety of everyone. With the virus mutation, the vaccine might not be effective against the new strains, not to mention the virus is still spreading. The children who’s under 12 have not yet been vaccinated, and we are worried about them entering the school with the crowd. We hereby request the Department of Education to give our parents the right to choose between remote class and in person for the next school year. Our parents still want to keep the two choices, in person and and remote classes. This is more fair to our parents. Thank you! 我们纽约市的家长们想跟教育局请愿留住网课的选择，因为疫情没有结束，变异病毒还在蔓延，我们12岁以下的孩子还未打疫苗，我们不放心我们的孩子进入学校上课。恳请教育局给我们家长可以选择网课的权利。我们家长还是想保留之前那样面对面上课和网课的两种选择。这样对于我们家长才是比较公平的。谢谢！
