TASKS
• Use statistical and machine-learning models to implement quantitative and systematic investment
strategies, including long-only, long-short market neutral, global macro, trend following, eventdriven, sector rotation, bottom-up fundamental, among others.
• Extract, filter and analyze financial, macroeconomic, earnings, credit and other data types and
models which will be used as input for the investment models.
• Implement portfolio construction and optimization models such as Mean Variance, Risk Parity,
Black-Litterman, among others.
• Back-test and evaluate the performance of different machine learning techniques and investment
strategies. Perform paper-trading and real-time simulation of systematic strategies.

TASKS
• Tasks will include extracting, filtering, synchronizing and analyzing large amounts of
asynchronous data, both structured and unstructured.
• Utilize state-of-the-art machine learning and Natural Language Processing methods to process
and quantify large amounts of unstructured data and transform it into a format that can be used
for systematic investment strategies and decision-making.
• Use Deep Learning and reinforcement learning to analyze and derive insights from Satellite data
and other complex unstructured data from thousands of sources.
• Implementation and optimization of data collection methods, including webscrapping, API
queries, and other methods using existing taxonomies for Natural Language Processing queries.
• Optimize large-scale time series databases using SQL, Hadoop, Mongo DB, Spark and other
related approaches
