Job Description

The hiring company is looking for a qualified intern to join our Operations team. Our Operations Department is responsible for handling all of the company’s purchasing needs. The Operation Specialist intern will facilitate and maintain vendor relationships between our company and suppliers. He or she is responsible for ensuring our company is able to acquire needed supplies, materials, and other relevant items, following a strict budget and keeping records of all the transactions.

Job Responsibilities
•        Work cooperatively with manager and vendors.
•        Purchasing supplies within a strict budget and keeping transaction records
•        Respectfully interact with employees and customers.
•        Evaluate the purchasing activities of the company
•        Assess costs and negotiate vendor and supply prices
•        Resolve pricing conflicts and place bids with different vendors as required


Job Requirements

•        Experience in a fast-paced business-to-business customer service environment
•        Demonstrated ability to meet objectives within deadlines with outstanding follow-through, time management, and planning skills.
•        A team-player who has great attention to details
•        Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills.
•        Strong math, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
•        Detail-oriented team players, possessing negotiation skills and the ability to work independently as needed
•        Bilingual (Mandarin & English) is preferred, but not required.
