INTERNSHIP – Broker-Dealer / Financial Services

Vision Financial Markets LLC (“Vision”) is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) as a self-clearing securities broker-dealer, which provides clearing and settlement, execution services and custody. Vision provides wholesale execution and clearing services to other broker-dealers, professional market participants, investment advisors, and large traders. Vision is a clearing participant of the Depository Trust company and the Options Clearing Corporation. Vision provides full clearing and order-entry technology and support.

High Ridge Futures LLC is a privately held, global introducing brokerage firm keenly focused in the areas of managed futures, online platform and API access, as well as custom-tailored futures and options execution services. We support the trading, hedging and asset management needs of a worldwide client base of institutions, corporations, foundations, family offices and individual investors.

Position Title: Broker-Dealer Summer Intern

Location: Stamford, CT

Compensation: $15-20 per hour

The Broker-Dealer Summer Intern provides administrative and functional support to different departments at an active broker-dealer. This position will require learning core software solutions such as Salesforce, Sungard FIS, WealthStation, and other back office software as needed. This position offers the unique opportunity to understand many of the aspects and departments of a broker-dealer as Intern will work with several different departments as needs arise.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual must be able to successfully pass background checks.

Education:

Personal Finance, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related major

Additional Requirements:

Must be part-time in school or currently enrolled (active) and have completed 4 semesters of coursework in an accredited college or technical school. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in the financial landscape. The individual should have a solid understanding of financial concepts.
