Company Introduction:

Public Hotel, in the heartof the hip, slightly hecticLower East Side, is one of a rash of new high-end hotels in a districtonce infamous for its tenement slums. Myriad notable bars and restaurants are within a few minutes’walk, including Rebelle,Dirty French and Freemans, while Balthazar and The Dutch are just fiveblocks away in SoHo. It was founded by American entrepreneur, hotelier and realestate developer, Ian Schrager, who was regarded as “the father of boutique hotels.”

Job Description:
   -  Conduct a comprehensive competitor analysis on various major hotels, including Hilton,The Ritz Carlton and the Westin under the guidance of the manager
   -  Work directly with the manager to research on major hotel chain’s revenue strategiesand make thoughtful and insightful recommendations for Public Hotel
   - Support the team to identify new growthopportunities for Public
   - Observe day-to-day operations at Public and assistthe manager with operational tasks
   - Attend hotel management professional and career workshops

Qualifications:
   - Strong interests in the hospitality industry andhotel management
   - Motivated and self-driven
   - Detail orientation is a must
