This is by far one of the most unique stories that we've heard in quite some time. Chances are, you've heard the story about the dog that was lost and found its way home. Heck, you've probably even heard one that is a level above that but we're willing to bet you've never heard something quite like this. A gentleman by the name of Jens Knof lost his buddy's GoPro camera back in February of 2011. Nothing strange there, right? Well, after losing his friend's camera in the waters of Kite Beach in the Dominican Republic, Mr. Knof got desperate and put word out about his loss on various outlets such as Facebook. Nothing happened until nearly 3 months later when a local fisherman came across his camera. Luckily, Mr. Knof got his friend's camera back without so much as a scratch on it and better yet, all the photos will still on file and ready to share.

He even got a little bit of footage of the camera's descent before its battery ultimately died. Talk about pure luck, huh? Anyways, it is stories like these that tend to make our draws drop but at the same time, they give us hope for just about anything regardless of how false it may turn out to be. Now, I'd like to challenge you to beat that story!
