这要看写给你支票的公司怎么向税务局申报的。
如果写给你支票的公司没有申报,你也没有申报;
就会被当成礼物馈赠,那么写给你支票的公司,超过免税的部分就会要征收大约百分20的税率;
税率是18%和22%,而接受馈赠的你,不需要申报,当然超过一万美金的转账,银行已自动报告给税务局。
如果写给你支票的公司,是当作杂项收益申报,税务局就会寄给你1099-MISC,
就要照着寄给你的1099-MISC申报.

WASHINGTON -- If you give any one person gifts valued at more than$10,000 in a year, it is necessary to report the total gift to the Internal RevenueService. You may even have to pay tax on the gift.The person who receives your gift does not have to report the gift to theIRS or pay gift or income tax on its value.You make a gift when you give property, including money, or the use orincome from property, without expecting to receive something of equal value inreturn. If you sell something at less than its value or make an interest-free orreduced-interest loan, you may be making a gift.There are some exceptions to the tax rules on gifts.
