关于resident alien的概念，你是怎么回答的？

这贴主要是出自两个银行常问的问题："are you a US citizen"，然后如果不是，就通常会问"are you a resident alien"

首先绿卡肯定是resident alien了，然后B和J应该是肯定non-resident了。

这里要讨论的其实是非绿卡的H和F签证的问题。

在税务问题上，是只要F第五年，H第二年就肯定是resident alien了。但是在银行申请信用卡、车贷、房贷的情况下，F和H签证算是resident alien吗？如果金融机构问你“are you a resident alien”的话，你又是如何回答的？

NR不是“非税务居民”，而是非居民，仍要交税的，交税的时候才有RA和NR的概念了。
