1.为匹配的学生提供每两周一次的课程。（课程内容可为文化课补充，大学申请经验，名校就读感受，语言课程等。）

2.为每节课程提供反馈，填写评估表。

3.在申请季，配合导师团队，和匹配的学生一起头脑风暴，构建文书立意和框架，并为学生提供申请文书修改。

4.帮助学生准备美国大学入学面试。

【职位要求】：

1.美国本科及以上，在读或毕业学生。名校最佳（U.S.NEWS Ranking Top50）。

2.良好的沟通能力，逻辑思维能力，写作能力。

3.喜欢教育行业，相信自己真的能够帮助迷茫的学弟学妹，申请理想学校。

4.能熟悉使用社交软件。

Job Summary:

  Adventurus Edu is an educational consulting firm headquartered in Chengdu with branches in Nanjing, Guangzhou and Sydney.What we are now looking for is a overseas mentor to join our group.

Mentors are paired with individuals based on fluent language spoken, extracurricular interests and hobbies. An Adventurus mentor listens to students, keeps adequate communication with students and Adventurus’ staff, comprehensively understands each student’s needs and passions, and provides timely and resourceful feedback. By use our online platform , mentors empower students to develop their characters, pursue their passions, and enhance their skill set. Through leading and inspiring, mentors are responsible to strengthen students’ decision making ability and efficiently encourage students to gradually take ownership of their paths in overseas studies and  career planning.

Roles and Responsibilities：

1. All qualified mentors will be offered training before providing their first service. The training for mentors will include teaching objectives, topics for lessons, teaching arrangements, teaching preparation and service procedures.

2. All qualified mentors will be asked to give a free 20-minute DEMO class to our potential clients before they decide to buy our service, once they successfully bought the service, the demo class will be paid.

3. All consultants are asked to provide at least 2 hours／per week of online courses.( 1 hour/per class)

4. Please be on time for the class. Normally, you need to go online  ten minutes before scheduled class.

5. Classes’ contents focus on inspiring and leading students to brainstorm, providing feedback and editing services on students’ essays, introducing cultural knowledge and academic information based on student’s major, and helping students prepare for interview and internship application.

6. Except for emergencies, please inform us at least 2 days ahead if you want to ask for a leave or unable to reschedule a class.

7. All Mentors are asked to complete a class report and send it to our Adventurus staff after each class (the report will be sent to you before you provide the service)

8. In addition to every class evaluation, please send us a quarterly report (we will provide the forms for you to complete). Information from the report helps us provide feedback to parents.

Job Location:

Work is conducted remotely through our video platform and Adventurus member system  

Desired:

Graduate or current students, from recognized universities.

Excellent communication skills in English, can speak Chinese would be an asset.

Excellent written/verbal presentation skills.

Critical thinking, cultural awareness, negotiation, conflict management skills.

Empathy, adaptability and high personal impact; close attention to detail.

Compensation:

Hourly wage & Client satisfaction bonus.

You will get paid in the first week of the month following completed classes.

Paid structure is flexible, and we pay higher wages to consultants with higher ratings. Rating is affected by several factors, including but not limited to job performance and customer feedback. Consultants with ratings under three stars may be dismissed.

Online Consulting

Basic consultants:$20/hour（Negotiable）

Three stars consultants: $25/hour

Four stars consultants : $30/hour

Five stars consultants : $35/ hour.

Adventurus will provide a bonus of XXX  for “The Mentor of the Year”.
