请教IT业的童鞋，关于M.S. in Data Science的就业前景

       CS什么的这几年一直很火，data science也被吹起来了，但是看有些报道说这个专业不会火很久。担心花了两年读出来找不到工作。我的本科读应用经济，研究生计划在我们这儿一个私立大学读data science外加graduate certificate in business analytics。
      有这个专业在读或者已经毕业的同学来分享下你们的经验吗？想知道在学习或者找工作过程中都会面临什么样的问题和困难~
      跟CS比起来哪一个会更难上手？因为我没有这方面背景，本科的时候只学过简单的统计分析，有些担心会不会跟不上。
      还有读研之后可以找什么样的实习机会呢？

个人觉得CS更难。data science主要是更偏统计。

I work as a qas in thomson reuters beta system and we are the top data provider company in the industry. There are currently a large demand for data scientists in IT industry, but the requirements are very strict. There are two types of data scientists, one is more academic, which requires you have either good reputation or lots of papers or both; another one is more of a PM type, which needs a MS in stats and some experience in either BA or PM. The requirement for data scientists are very strict which is why even the big names such as fb and amzn can't find as many data scientists as they want.
Overall, it can be a very good career, but it does requires lots of effort.
