小孩学校的年级究竟咋分?

突然发现这里学校太复杂,尤其是小学以前的,小学grade 1st那些就可以数上去.可是什么infant program,toddler program,preschool,pre-kindergarten(PreK),transitional kindergarten(TK),kindergarten(K),完全就是把我们搞糊涂了!!!

infant: 接受3个月以上
toddler:接受30 个月以上
preschool: 3-5岁,
PreK: 是大概4岁?
TK: 是由preschool过度到kindergarten,不知道几岁?
K: 5-6岁,

还有pre-k 3,preK4,PreK5,PreK8 都是什么玩意啊?>_<

还有看到申请公立学校需要地址证明,然后我就在想,你让那些租人家basement的住客,水电煤垃圾全部都不是自己名字,连上网都不是自己名字,没车没房没入籍的...除了pay stub还有啥能证明,而且需要两种,而且还要pay stub上有地址姓名!!! 这怎么看都不科学啊!!!

Acceptable Proofs of Home Address:Proofs of home address must be originals and include the name and address of the parent or guardian.

One to two utility service contract, statement or payment receipts; from different agencies such as PG&E, water, cable, or garbage within 45 days (no cell phone bills will be accepted)
Both automobile registration and auto insurance policy, must be current (count as one proof)
Homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy, must be current
Property tax payment receipts, must be current assessment year.
Correspondence from a government agency within 45 days
Grant deed, title of property
Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipts within 45 days
Section 8 agreements, must be current
Affidavit of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of a pupil
Pay stubs, within 45 days
Voter registration, must be current
