UPDATE:FROM Reddit: /r/churning
Several years ago, BofA converted some of my cards away from the worldpoints program to a generic "rewards" program. I still had one long neglected bofa woldpoints amex with a measly 100 points that I was left over.
After reading this post and comments, I used the transfer tool, and was able to successfully convert worldpoints to my bofa travel rewards card. Even though it wasn't a worldpoints program, I was able to move the points.
So... BofA Worldpoints -->> transfer to -->> BofA Travel Rewards Points. Perhaps other BofA points programs are cross-transferable? YMMV...

Coupled with a 75% bonus for a high balance, that creates a monster 3.5% CB anywhere card which makes for all sorts of ridiculous redemption options. Considering I have a $50k limit on my Fidelity Amex, this could get very, very exciting.
I'd be really interested to hear from someone that has the Fidelity Amex and BoA Travel Rewards card to see if this works. Seems like it should. I double checked and my BoA Card actually doesn't even specifically say "WorldPoints". It just says "Points". My Fidelity card refers to them as WorldPoints, but it seems like FIA Card Services points are all considered the same between their various cards. I checked and I can transfer points between any of my 3 BoA cards, as well as from my Fidelity Amex to any of my BoA Cards. My other 2 BoA cards are old BoA Amex and BoA Rewards cards I never use anymore.
