Dear Parents,
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate School of Education at UB. I am currently conducting research
regarding parenting experiences among multinational families. The results derived from this study may help you in your role as parents. It may also assist you in creating more effective partnership with your child’s school.
YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED
If you have at least one child under age 12 and meet either criteria A or B,
you might be qualified to participate in this research

1. You and your spouse were born in different countries.
2. You and your spouse do NOT share English as your first language.
    B
1. You and your spouse were born in the U.S.
2.   You share English as your first language.

Q & A
1. How much work does this research require?
     A: Both you and your spouse will complete one written survey.

2. How much time does it take to complete the survey?
     A: It will take each of you approximately 15-45 minutes.

3. Will my information be kept confidential?
     A: Yes. Any information you provide will be kept confidential.
