·       XYD is the Chinese facing brand from Attract China  that enables top US travel destinations to connect with and promote to Chinesetravelers. We operate in Boston, Beijing, New York, Washington DC, Las Vegas,Los Angeles and San Francisco. (15 cities by end of 2014)

WHAT XYD WANTS FROM YOU

We seek experienced travel writers/contributors of top UScity guides/magazines/media thatfeature the best attractions and travel experiences, such as TimeOut/Gayot.com/Fodors-typemedia. As our local expert, the travel content consultant would advise ourChief Editor on latest and trending popular experiences and attractions in ourtarget cities (NY, Boston, SF, LA, Wash DC, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Seattle,Chicago so far) on a monthly basis. We seek your expert guidance and outlinesfor new Top 10s, Itineraries, monthly Local/Best of features, that our contentteam can develop and publish.

Editor/writer job requirements:

·       Passionate US travel experience, professionally and/orpersonally

·       1-3 years Travel published writing experience in thesecities: New York, Boston, LA, SF, Las Vegas, Washington DC, Honolulu, Seattle,Chicago

·       Prefer American resident or regular US traveler

·       Can consult via conf call/skype, and also develop outlinesummaries for our content team, distilling what is ‘must-see’

About the work:

·       Monthly assignments of 5 Top 10s, 2 Itineraries, one monthlyfeature

·       Remote work, paid based on monthly hours

About our Chinese travelers:  these are Chinese travelers to the top US cities–representing the top 10% of the Chinese market, in income and work experience.They are exploring international travel, interested in the best 5-starexperiences in the US to customize their own trips, avoiding boring tourgroups. We focus on Singles, Couples, Families, and Business travel.
