TaraPaige Group is a leading business advisor to the hospitality industry. We are your COO/CFO for your enterprise. We partner with early stage, multi-unit and expanding enterprises to provide expert operational and financial management services. We identify the heart of your operations to create systems and procedures for long-term financial success. Our work includes business plan development, financial planning, strategic analysis and ongoing accounting, financial and operational management.

Positions:

• Process all vendor payables for clients and manage outstanding AP.

• Process and manage accounts receivable and account for ba debt allowance.

• Reconcile all bank accounts on a monthly basis

• Monitior and process all expenses

• Monitor and process all cash receipts for café sales

• Review and troubleshoot inventory management and COGS issues

• Contribute to weekly and month end close out financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow)

• Daily use of accounting programs such as Quickbooks, Compeat, Fishbowl & Starchef those clients may use.

• Maintain an organized and clear system for clients accounting filing system

• Continuously look to improving the firms internal controls and monitor for operating effectiveness.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in accounting

• Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting systems

• Experience and/or familiarity with the food industry

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and powerpoint and general ease with technology softwares

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping position

• Detail oriented with excellent record keeping and organizational skills

• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and creatively

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
