Internship position: Accounting and Finance intern

Internship Location: Oakland, CA

Start Date: ASAP

Duties:

- Assist with monthly financial closings

- Analyze GL entries and prepare journal entries for posting as needed

- Review, record and amortize accrued liabilities, expenses and revenues on a monthly basis

- Prepare Accounts Payable functions

- Other accounting and finance functions as needed

Requirements:

- Accounting or Finance education background

- Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles

- Basic understanding of GAAP and financial principles and terms

- Excellent skill in using Excel and G Suite

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
