Q: What is included in the editing service?

A: Our editing services are “substantive”; this means that we revise for language, grammar, typography, formatting, clarity, flow, logic, and overall readability. We do our best to act as peer reviewers, providing feedback on the content.

Q: Do we write dissertations?
A: No, we do not write dissertations. We feel that writing the dissertation is a critical part of the learning process. However, we are happy to help guide students through this process and to provide feedback and offer suggestions on the dissertation drafts.

Q: How is payment handled?
A: Payment can be processed through your institution or through personal funds. We accept payments via bank check, wire transfer/ACH deposit, and via PayPal for credit/debit card payments.

Q: What is your experience with the particular type of project?
A: We have a wealth of experience in manuscripts intended for submission to a variety of different academic journals, as well as for grant proposals for many different funding mechanisms, from NIH and NSF to private foundations and funding bodies outside of the US.

Q: Are there things you DON’T do?
A: We do not offer ghostwriting services, but once a draft is written, we are happy to check formatting, references, and revise.

Q: What if my manuscript or grant proposal has to be revised after review?
A: We are happy to work with you on resubmissions. We appreciate the feedback of the reviewers and like to ensure that your resubmission meets all of their requirements/requests.
