标题: UA 还是很厚道的

事情经过如下

我要从A,飞到B。。我的机票路线是 A-C-B
然后头一天晚上，UA 给我改成了A-B,没跟我说
还好我查了下，改了回来。。。我这么飞因为要去C办事。。

结果之前好的座位没了，新的座位都很烂(⊙o⊙)… ，然后 A-C-B，是早上六点的飞机，A-B 是十一点多的飞机，当时我就是不开心了，然后打客服。。给改过来了。。。我电话里面抱怨，他说你去网上填表格吧。。

我填写如下

Message: Dear United Airlines,

Thank you for improving the meals in economic cabins for international
flights, I am looking forward to trying them tomorrow.

Here are my complaints:
This is my original travel plan:

When I checked my plans on 06/07 afternoon, the system changed my flight
to XXXX  direclty, without any authorization from me or any
notification. I called the customer service and the agent corrected for
me.But the seats I chose before were taken. I am not so happy with the
new seats and I have nothing to do with losing the seats that I
preferred.

I am disappointed since

1. I already chose the seats for my original flight, due to this
unexpected situation, I can not get the seats that I chose before, there
are taken and the new seats are not so satisfied. Making my trip and
seats comfortable are always my first goal, especially for long trip.It
is also the reason that I choose united airlines since I trust that
united can make my trip and seats comfortable than any other
competitors.

2. No one tells me my flight has been changed, if I did not check my
account, what happened to me will be I get up at 3:30 am and head to the
airport, then find out my flight has been changed to 11:00 am. Although
I can make some changes at the airport, if I can not make it, why I need
to get up at 3:30 am and wait until 11:00 am?

3. The reason why I chose to layover in XXXXX is I need to meet a
friend at  t . If I can not meet
him  , it will cause lots of issues. And I do not know
how to explain to him

I do appreciate that the agent helped me. I can not image what gonna
happens if I do not notice the changes.

然后说是7-10 工作日回复，没想到两天就回复了。。原文如下

给Lz说个我AA的情况参考下吧
回国，结果飞到一半，飞机坏了，临时停在中途某机场，还过了一夜。期间AA给安排了喜来登住的。但没有餐券补助啥的（当时我不懂信用卡可以cover这些餐费，反正还是自费吃的饭）
我后来尝试性complain了一下，给我补了20000miles，不过我这个确实问题严重些，回家用了48小时多…差点误了签证

手上当时的卡也是只有discover和boa123

可以试试，当时和我同飞机的小伙伴，没有complain的都没有这个里程补助，所以那时我就森森意识到，美帝也是会叫的鸟儿有食吃
我后来其实还试着继续complain，但是没明说要double里程啥的，就说飞着飞着飞机就坏了太恐怖了，我都不敢坐飞机啥的云云。然后就没有多给里程了

其实当时确实挺恐怖的，飞机侧翼在万米高空开始冒白气，好像说什么液压阀坏了，坚持不到终点，半路要停下。当时听力也不过关，没听太清楚具体原因
后来我还complain，您看，我这飞了48多小时了，多么崩溃的旅程
他们后来就是回信，意思是目前没有啥能给您的了，非常抱歉啥的，没有实际性的再补助。不过我也无所谓，放假在家就当练习写作了 :)

175差不多也是一次深折扣单程屌丝舱的机票钱

May I ask if accepting the 8750 miles is the only option for me? May I
have other alternatives or if I say no, I just get nothing?

to qualifying for a one-way ticket anywhere in the continental US.

However, as an alternative to the 8750 miles, I can offer a $175
Electronic Travel Certificate which can be used toward any United/United
Express flight.

You can advise me which you would prefer.
