Duties:• Inquiring and comparing rates from various shipping lines & airlines to get the most competitive cost• Timely response on customers’ or agents’ inquiry. • Efficient and smooth handling of shipments – booking space/picking up/customs declaration/preparation of HBL,MBL draft, manifest, insurance, billing, input costs, track & trace events, and pre-alert to overseas agents• Excellent customs service to meet the performance requirements agreed by customers• Maintenance of strong working relationships with shipping lines, airlines, cartage companies and other service providers• Timely reconciliation settlement with all service providers• Coordinate with parent’s company to secure smooth handling of shipments• Strict adherence to compliance standards(internal policies, government regulations, and customer requirements)• Fulfill other work assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirements:• College degree or above major in Logistics, International Trade or relevant• At least 3 years’ experience in international logistics operation• Extensive freight export/import knowledge • IATA or FIATA Diploma is an advantage• Familiar with the laws and regulations of Shipping lines & Airlines, Customs & Quarantine• Excellent intercultural/communication/organizational/problem-solving skills• Fluent English and Mandarin
