【整理更新】关于roadside assistant比较

这大雪天的，开车很容易出个什么问题，车子陷坑里啊，电池没电啊，冰上打滑撞路边啊都是常见现象。。
分享一下关于各个roadside assistance的比较，大家自取所需。

首先美国最大的汽车俱乐部，AAA，除了旅游服务，最大的业务就是提供路边救援服务(Roadside Assistance)，哦，还有保险。
我已经是第二年会员了。会员等级有classic, plus , primier。
AAA提供的服务，除了换轮胎、电池充电、开锁外，主要的是免费拖车，普通会员最多免费拖5迈，Plus primier会员免费拖100迈。如果车没汽油而熄火，普通会员可以免费送油，油费自理，Plus primier会员汽油免费。
附上详细的服务比较图。
个人觉得这个服务还是很不错的，大部分时候你在镇上或者城市里开，5miles都可以cover了，跑远程的话就可以用到下面说的信用卡roadside援助了。当然如果你是AAA高级会员，一样可以用AAA服务，反正你已经交了钱。

另外一家Better World Club, 他们家还可以为自行车购买道路援助，可以租用混合动力车，年费，基本$55.95，高级$89.95. 不过注册还有12美元的费用。

很多信用卡都提供路边救援服务，根据手上已有信用卡的Terms and Conditions，网上的信息，大概总结和比较各个信用卡之间的路边救援服务的优劣和价格。难免遗漏，欢迎补充和修正。

1. AMEX Card

1.1  Platinum (年费$450)，Delta Reserve($450)，Premier Rewards Gold ($175)，Gold ($125)
以上几张AMEX的优质信用卡，年费高昂，提供的服务也相对较好。他们的路边救援服务是通过The American Express Roadside Assistance Anywhere services提供,电话号码 1-800-333-AMEX (1-800-333-2639)。
服务一年可以有4次，每次可以报销$50，同一个原因引起的服务间隔必须在7天以上。服务覆盖全美国、加拿大、波多黎各（似乎没有把夏威夷和阿拉斯加排除在外）。

This service provides up to 4 service calls per year, with $50 of coverage per service call. (Limit of 1 service call in 7 days for the same cause) 。
Towing is to nearest authorized facility at a maximum of 10 miles with a maximum of $50 coverage. Coverage is applicable to the entire United States,, and Puerto Rico.

1.2  Green Card ($95)
和上面AMEX 1.1里面的卡一样的服务，唯一的限制是必须在离家超过50迈以外的地方才能使用服务。
This service provides up to 4 service calls per year, with $50 of coverage per service call. (Limit of 1 service call in 7 days for the same cause.)
Towing is to nearest authorized facility at a maximum of 10 miles with a maximum of $50 coverage. Coverage is applicable to the entire United States,Canada, and Puerto Rico. The Cardmember must be 50 miles from home in orderto receive the service.

1.3  Starwood Preferred Guest （$65)
不提供免费的路边救援服务。可以帮助你叫当地的公司来帮你服务，但费用自理。
This benefit is a coordination of the service and the Cardmember is resposible for all costs associated with this service. Coverage is applicable to the entire United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

2. Visa Card
不知道是不是所有卡都有，还是只是高端卡才有。以Chase Marriott为例，不提供免费的服务，只是帮你叫当地的服务公司，费用虽然自理，但visa卡有协议价，每次均价$59.95。服务电话号码： (1-800-VISA-TOW)
而且拖车只有5miles。Cardholders are required to pay the service provider for mileage over 5 miles.
Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Visa Credit Card
Roadside Dispatch (1-800-VISA-TOW) : 24 hour, toll free dispatch for emergency roadside assistance such as, towing, fuel, delivery and more. pay a pre-negotiated fee of currently $59.95 per service call.

3. Master Card
普通的卡和Visa一样，取决于卡的类型，每次服务协议价$70 - $95。服务电话号码 800-622-7747
Roadside Dispatch: Referral service Roadside Assistance (1-866-359-5402)
Arranges emergency roadside assistance such as jump-starts, tire change, 、towing, and gas delivery if you get stuck on the road. Service fees are pre-negotiated and billed to your eligible MasterCard card. You pay a pre-specified flat rate for the service, which ranges from $70 to $95, depending on which type of service you require. If you need the service, simply call the general MasterCard number (800-622-7747) and they will connect you to the service.

4.  Chase

摩根大通银行的大陆航空公司UA MileagePlus Explorer、President Plus卡跟AMEX的Green卡基本一样，包含免费的服务，也有离家50迈以上的要求。服务电话1-866-359-5402
Card members are eligible for coverage up to $50 per event, four times a year for roadside assistance. Assistance services include gas, flat tire service, a tow and more. reqires 50 miles away from home
貌似这个真的看卡，同样visa signature，万豪的卡就只是普通的visa的服务，UA Explorer就有免费的服务。

5.  Citi AAdvantage World Elite Master Card
服务电话1-855-569-7399

Our dispatch service sends help if your car breaks down, including: Towing and winching; Jumpstarts; Flat tire change, when a spare is available; Lock-out service, when the key is in the vehicle; Delivery of up to 2 gallons of fuel。不包括motorcycle和camper。

WEMC比普通MC的优势就在这里了。我是把这个电话存着了，唯一的一张WE要好好利用。

6. Discover Card
除了Discover Miles cards外，不提供这类服务。服务电话通过 1-800-Discover提供，每次收费$69.95。

当然更高级的amex黑卡，chase白金卡之类的我都没有见过，没去了解他们的服务，但肯定更高端。有卡的可以来补充一下。

7. 电话公司

AT&T的手机feature里面也有Roadside Assistance，好象一个月$2.99，加了要过72小时才生效，但可以随时取消。如果是road trip的话，可以加这个feature，trip完了再cancel.AT&T  $2.99/month
Verizon  $3.0/month
Sprint  $4.0/month

8. 车险公司

现在很多车险公司也提供类似服务，只要你车险多交一些费用。我反正是不用。因为下面说到的新车服务，我的车有五年，哈哈。

有人通报过，保险公司也有roadside assistance coverage，通常很便宜，半年两三块钱。用户自己打电话叫服务，可以用任何roadside assistance service，用收据到保险公司报销。cover的金额在“合理的范围以内”。我lp用过两次jump start，每次几十块钱；拿收据到agent，当场给支票。事后没有涨保费。

A tow could boost your car insurance premium：Using an insurance company’s roadside assistance or towing benefits too often could affect your rates (and not in a nice way) or even your eligibility for coverage. Some auto insurers consider your calls for roadside assistance to be negatives, just like accident claims. State Farm, the nation’s largest insurer, says the use of roadside assistance is a verysmall factor in calculating rates or considering a driver’s insurability. Some insurers report roadside assistance calls made under their policies to ChoicePoint, an Alpharetta, Ga., company that compiles claims information for the insurance industry. Nationwide Insurance and Geico say they report the information but don’t use it in their policy decisions. Allstate says it doesn’t report usage by members of the Allstate Motor Club, but it does report towing claims made under its insurance policies.

9. 新车保修计划

不少新车随保修计划也附带路边救援服务，一般与新车的保修期一样长。尼桑3年，现代5年，奔驰终身！这种服务是跟随车而不是跟人的。买新车的同学可以留意一下。
