Guys, me and my wife (USC) just had our interview in Dallas TX Feb 1st after 16 months of waiting (PD is 7/31/2017) and we are 3 months out to reach 2 years anniversary.
Interview went smooth, I?m funny and I added jokes in convo so IO was cracking up couple times. She is Caucasian lady ( about 35), her office is all the way down the hall on left side (if anyone gets interviewed in Dallas TX). When she walked us in her office, she asked ?Are yall ready fro weekends?? I was like We can?t wait to turn up then she laughed. After taking an oath, picture, my fingerprints and She done asked us to verify our information (she asked my wife about her name, DOB, parents name and she asked me same... I felt weird like why would we not know our own info?). After that, all the chit chat about when and where we met, how often seeing each other after first met, when and how is engagement, our jobs, when and where is marriage, some basic questions.... she wrote down everything she asked. Then she asked for bills, join bank account, insurance and she kept all that. Then she went through all Y/N question about my i485 then I signed at the end.
The whole interview went pretty good, really laid back, no pressure. At the end, my lawyer asked mentioned to her that we are 3 months out to reach 2 years anniversary then she said its too far out, she can?t hold the file that long. She said if approval, its only conditional GC. |
