University Bridge (www.ubridge.org) is seeking a team member for a part-time position located in San Mateo, California. Fluent Mandarin is required. The position will support the current Student Services Coordinator. The pay is $25/hr.

We are an education start-up that runs a 2 2 transfer pathways program located in California and Virginia. The program helps international students with every aspect of life inside and outside of school for the first two years of their US college experience. We then assist with guaranteed transfer admissions to 5 of the Top 50 US universities through our community college partnerships.

The Job: This position will support the Campus Director, who is responsible for the academic progress, retention and eventual success of our cohort of international students who attend University Bridge California － Silicon Valley (our program in affiliation with the College of San Mateo). This includes both planned and ad-hoc meetings with students to answer questions related to their current needs, as well as future transfer planning, usually within the UC or CSU systems.
Assist with daily management of student housing needs and general support of the Student Services Coordinator. May require driving students during special events.

Qualifications:
• Fluent Mandarin
• Knowledge of US education system
• Experience with international students preferred
• Licensed driver in California
• Flexible schedule
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

The Location: The right candidate will live within 20 minutes of College of San Mateo and/or the Hillsdale exit of the 101. This is a “work from home” job with frequent travel to school and to the student housing facility just off the 101. Only local candidates will be considered.

Pay: $25 per hour. Approximately 10-25 hours per week, depending on the needs of the Student Services Coordinator.
