Fashion Merchandiser Job Description
·       Manage and update style assortment and offering on-site (update shared doc, and also responsible for putting items on and off "shelf")
·       Manage e-commerce visual merchandising efforts to optimize selling and visibility of style offering
·       Work with Marketing and social teams to make sure product pushes are synonymous across all channels
·       Plan daily stories that highlight new product in a strategic cadence (initiate the release of new styles, colors, fabrics and design details)
·       Create and present seasonal strategy for product offering (Outlining goals, market share opportunities and objectives for cross-functional teams)
·       Create seasonal line plans by delivery, brand, category and target price points
·       Attend Design/Tech proto reviews and fittings to ensure the execution of product within the Good strategy
·       Planning & Projections: Yearly/seasonal/weekly targets
·       Establish and manage pricing structure and ensure price points are completive in the market
·       Manage all costing components- from fabrics to base prices of garments, to design details (Knowledge of construction and costing implications are important as this is a unique platform)
·       Create line plan/determine # of SKUs per season, per brand, etc
·       Help creates and execute weekly merchandise plan: Selecting which key items we need to push and following up with web collateral to reflect this, selecting which images to be used on the website, helping create and execute the visual content with teams, etc.
·       Visual E-Commerce merchandiser - visually merchandising each item and where it lives on the site
·       Fabric inventory/ knowledge of our fabric liability and what needs to be used: sorting and categorizing our fabric inventory plan - helping design keep track of fabrics that need to be sold through when designing future collections
·       Work with PR to identify key seasonal items to push and manage PR Showroom visual merchandising
·       Create and share selling reports to company, and provide feedback of what/why is selling, pulling weekly reports and reviewing them with the design and marketing teams to assess where to push and where we need to dial back
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

·       Complete market research and consumer information collection, including competitive brand and model brand price, category, sales and other information.
·       According to be brand positioning, annual target product development strategy, development planning programs, theme and quarter development, and procurement schedule.
·       Analyzing past sales figures, customers’ reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs. Devising a merchandise plan using the above techniques.
·       Relaying the merchandise plan to the buyer in turn, can decide on what products, styles, color etc.  to purchase and from which suppliers, at what price.
·       Arrange all website pictures, including PC and mobile versions (Graphic Design department is responsible for designing home-page and product pictures according to project and theme, all pictures updated by Commodity Planning Department members)

- “wear it with / you may also like” product collocation and layout

·       Plan for every product photo shooting schedule, including time and call sheet
·       Plan for updating website theme each month (set up an updating cycle. For instance, update every 20 days with 3 new themes, and plan this a quarter/3 months before next quarter, then provide the plan for Co-founder to sign to be valid).

  • Participate discussion every week and draft project plan with the corresponding team
·       Participate in drafting multi-channel sales for next year

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in retail and/or online merchandising. E-commerce experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to build relationships with peers and management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills including public speaking and/or presenting

•协助控制生产线成本 - 从面料到服装基本价格,再到设计细节
•制定生产线计划,熟知每个品牌的SKU数量等
•帮助创建和执行每周商品计划:选择我们需要推送哪些关键产品并跟踪网络资源以反映这一点,选择在网站上使用哪些图像优化网站的视觉展现,和内容展现。
•可视化电子商务推销技能 - 以视觉方式推销每件商品及其在网站上的位置
•与市场部合作,确定重要的季节性项目,推动和管理视觉营销
•与PR合作,选择一些重点推出产品,同时推进PR Showroom的产品企划管理
