       这两年大家对STEM专业的爱可谓是越来越爱，越来越多的同学在择美留学的时候更多倾向于STEM专业。尤其是在总统大选期间，希拉里曾说：STEM专业的学生统统绿卡！！纳尼！！这么好的事情天底下打灯笼也是找不到呀！虽然最后希拉里败下阵来，但这并不影响STEM专业的魅力。

       那让我们先来简单了解下STEM专业到底是什么？STEM一词实在奥巴马总统于2013年提出新的移民政策中反复提及，代表的是Science(科技)，Technology(科技)，Engineering(工程)，Mathematic(数学)，这一些列的词缩写起来就是大家口中的STEM.

由于美国目前的经济发展状况，与STEM相关的工作缺口非常巨大，相应的需求量也很多，因此政府也给出了不少优惠政策帮助相关专业的毕业生就业----除了为本地学生提供的奖学金以及毕业后的高薪资待遇外，对外国留学生则是提供长达3年的OPT实习工作签证，这无疑对留学生来说是个不小的吸引，因为相比较大多数专业一年的OPT来说，这无疑是增加了抽签的次数和抽中的比列。

       大家关于STEM听了不少，但对于什么专业是STEM专业确实一头雾水，除了我们众所周知电脑相关专业以外，其实有很多我们知道却不知道它也是属于STEM的。
